Young-at-Heart Ministry

Ministry to the 55 and Older Believers

Responding to a call from God, coupled with a heart and vison for evangelism, Clint and Andrea Mitchum have taken the leadership of the “Young-at-Heart” Ministry. The basis for this ministry is to reach Believers 55 and older for the purpose of spiritual growth, fellowship, and service to the Kingdom of Heaven. The Mitchum’s believe that spiritual growth encourages Believers to focus on a deeper more intimate relationship with God; understanding how prayer will help them on their journey, and how the memorization of God’s Word along with meditation will strengthen their resolve of life, to live dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ. They believe that unity of Spirit will come when Christian’s fellowship and are able to share their beliefs, convictions, and Bible focus. The Mitchum’s believe that fellowship produces a mutual cooperation in worship to our God and promoting His work in the earth. Their focus on service to the Kingdom of Heaven is noteworthy. They direct Believer’s attention to the awesome benefits of having a servant’s heart to God and for God, and how it brings a sense of connection to the church and those who have never experienced the love of God for themselves. Servants for Christ in their own right, the Mitchum’s deeply desire to serve diligently and sacrificially. They know that a servant’s heart will not come automatically but will take time and sacrifice. Their profound message is to rely on God’s strength and not their own. Service is not just found in big endeavors, but in little acts of thoughtfulness and kindness to all. The Mitchum’s are rooted and grounded Believers in Christ, being an example for all to see.

Vision Statement

The vision for the Young-at-Heart Ministry is to assist in mentoring mature Believers and promoting a continuation of spiritual growth. The resolve is to have Believers become Warriors for God who live victorious every day, and who are committed to being a light to the younger generations.

Our Goal

The goal of the Young-at-Heart Ministry is to encourage older members in Christ to come together for fellowship, Bible Study, edification, and taking adventures together. These efforts will bring awareness to individual needs and corporate needs that can be addressed through prayer and hands on assistance for other Believers.
